Since I'm fairly new here, I don't know the history other posters have about others. I have appreciated some posts that both BB & Chosen have posted. I do not appreciate or support a post by ANYONE ''bashing another''. I have been clear about that. I was actually made fun of about the ''playground mentality''.
Any angry agenda against another person on this board should not be tolerated by any person here. THIS should be a safe place to state opinions, right or wrong, ''no matter how strong our opinion''! It's OK to disagree, that is our right! It is always possible to state our opinion in a kind way, with respect & w/out offending. The person we disagree with has rights as well! They have a right to post their opinion w/out fear of being ''blasted'' by others. This is an issue I try to communicate daily to my children & grandchildren. ''State your opinion in an intelligent & caring way, we will respond in kind''.
We are all adults, here. As we all type, we have a backspace & a delete button available to us. We have the opportunity to go back, read what we have typed, & make the decision to push the send button.
There have been some posts I have pushed the ''send button''...and regretted later. I'm better than that, we all are.
This is a neighborhood site. We are ''somewhat'' protected w/ being anonoymous . That doesn't make it ok.
BB...you said that you & your wife (I'm paraphrasing here)...''deserve the benefits of your service.'' My question to you is this. If you can come to this site & be hateful to any other person, has your service to our town been to truly make it a place for all of us & our children to live?
Were your services meant to benefit our town, or to yourselves? If your agenda was so that you & wife could have a better life, good for you; and shame on you?!
That isn't what service is all about. Lil was right to post! Boys will be boys; men will be men!
