Great store
I love the new Menard's. Especially the fact that so much of their lumber is now inside where it won't be exposed to heat/cold/etc.
I do a lot of craft ''stuff'' and use quite a bit of of 1/2'' and 1/4'' plywood. A full sheet is too heavy for me to handle and not only do that have a huge selection of 2x4 sheets of 1/2'' and 1/4'', but they now that half sheets at a better price. I can handle that. I'm happy. :-)
Prices on some of the grocery items are much less than Wal-Mart, although I'm sure some are higher. I only looked at the items they carry that I normally buy and saw one that's 45c less than Wal-Mart!
And if you have a Menard's card, there's that 2% rebate. Might not be more than a few cents, but it adds up in a year's time and nowadays every penny helps.
BTW..did anybody notice the rotating carpet display? Pretty nifty. :-)And their artificial Christmas trees are gorgeous. Much as I dislike seeing Christmas items displayed before Thanksgiving, I have to admit they have some beautiful things in there.
