we're complacent SV. I mean c'mon look how swell we got it here in the good old USofA. An example, Chris Dodd, Presidential candidate. No military service whatsoever. Professional politician since 1974. What does this guy have to offer the Country we don't already have. Another example, how about Rudy Guiliani. Again, no military service whatsoever. Allegedly cleaned up the Mob in NYC when in actuality all he did was take the thug gumbas and put them away thereby allowing the consiliere's to move the dirty money and same management style into legitimate businesses. Is there anyone besides me who believes this country is still run and conducted by legitimate people at the upper levels of power? C'mon grow up.
Tell it like it is SV. This isn't about conservatism, liberalism, the christian right, the secular progressives. This is about WHO RULES. Pick up the Wall Street Journal and you'll find out who the ruling class in this country and in the world. It's the Corporations. The same Corporations who charge us $3.00 for gasoline, who offer us low interest loans for mortgages they know we'll never be able to sustain, Corporations who flood our mailboxes with their credit card applications so we can immerse ourselves further and deeper in debt. Corporations, the media and schools who dumb down our children at the beginning of life; all the way through college so we become a Nation of wimps with no individual thought but only collective intellect. Why?
So we the people can be controlled. Give 'em the good life, let 'em taste luxury, let 'em feel secure at night when they go to bed knowing the payments and interest on the $2,500 LCD wall mounted TV in the bedroom they'll be falling asleep to won't fall due until a year from now. Don't teach the neandrathals fiscal responsibility and nevermind the fact they're aren't putting away money for their futures, while barely making $2.00 to $3.00 above the minimum wage and still having a family to support. Keep 'em fat and make 'em happy. When people become fat and happy they become lazy. Lazy people are easy to control. Just keep putting out the non-essential BS and remind them daily how much they need this crap in their lives and make it easy for them to get with interest free and no payments until 2009.
Don't be fooled by the two party system here in the USofA. The parties work hand in hand behind the scenes they're just smart enough to know that we're to dumb and lazy to understand and do anything about. Nobody cares about opening the books to see where we are fiscally in the world with our debt. You just leave that to us here on Wall Street and at the Federal Reserve Bank. We won't bother telling you either that we're borrowing a BILLION a day from China to help keep our War Powers Act in motion. Hmmmm, maybe that's why the Chinese are trying to poison our kids with lead paint and other toxic chemicals we've recently found in our clothing, toys and food.
We're moving away from a Free Nation to a Facist nation. Facists live, breathe and feed on propoganda. What we're experiencing as a country presently is similar to what the German, Italian and Japanese people were experiencing 75 years ago. Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo all lulled their people into a sense of false security and any student of history can tell you what happened next.
Question is, can it happen here?
