Where do I send the card?
Hey Chosen, I want to send a card. Will the info you shared get a card to Walter Reed? Is he from Muscatine/surrounding areas? If so, wouldn't it be wonderful for us all to take pictures of our town to share with him?
If I were hurt & feeling vulnerable, far from home; pictures of my hometown would give me strength. The strength & courage to be strong & to come back to the town he grew up; we can give him that! We can tell him that we care about him & his family & appreciate the sacrifice they are all making and send him a HUG!
Walter Reed will hear those words from his family. During his recovery, HE deserves to hear from the ''friends he hasn't met'', (his neighbors); that we care. That is only ONE OF THE very beautiful advantages of being from a small town! To a New Yorker, ''man that sucks; ''could you please add another shot of expresso?, what were you saying?''

How about pictures of the River/bridge, the sunrise/sunset over the riverfront? Peaceful pictures of people walking the Riverfront, kids playing on playground equipment? Pictures & testimonies showing how we all take advantage of & appreciate the freedom & safety we all feel is something that will have to give him the strength & courage to keep our country & town safe. He will share this strength with others!
