It was reported on KWQC TV that Heinz had a barbecue sauce spill and it drained into madcreek and into the river. The DNR said it was affecting fish. Why does Heinz have drains to madcreek? their waste is treated at the water pollution control plant. When they have a spill, it should also go to the treatment plant. I hope the DNR requires some changes made by Heinz co. to protect the enviroment.

It's just now your catfish will have a nice seasoned, tangy taste to them when you eat them.

Jeff, I really appreciate your humor, I do, but it's not always timely. I chuckled at this post, but making light of pollution isn't funny. I'm not trying to be righteous. That would be funny. But the indifference I felt from your post is what I think is exactly wrong with this country. It's not until it's too late that anyone cares. Maybe if Mad Creek were the towns' water supply you'd feel different.
