to disagree, can't we? I was just looking over the ''terms of use'' and all the other crap that is supposed to be the ''ground rules'' for this site, and guess what? 99% of the people that have posted here and still post here ignore those rules a majority of the time.
No one here is better than anyone else. Everyone is skilled in their own way, and not everyone is skilled to the same degree as the next person. No one here is an expert on anything other than maybe B.S. and cut and paste skills. Different strokes, different folks, different views, pick and choose.
I'm as guilty as the next person of insults, condescencion, ridicule, poor taste and plain old blabber-mouthing. And while I don't agree with a lot of posters, I don't necessarily disagree with all of you.
Having said that, stupid comments are just that. Ignorance and poor taste are to be expected in a place like this, but for all the shortcomings we have as a whole, we have a lot of relevant(?) and smart things to say.
It ain't New Years yet, but hey. It's time the leaves turned.

You have more than 5 min. or 5 days in you! You have the gift of knowing the past of other posters that many of us do not. That could be a gift or a curse for you. ''They'' can use their own knowledge to goad you into reacting?
You want the leaves turned; you ARE NOT alone! Stay strong in the face of adversity. You have put a voice to what a few have thought. You have support for the views you stated here, (with no knowlege of a past)? You have a Clean slate to some of us newbies, SV!
It is NEVER ok to physically, mentally or verbally hurt another person. I've been angry in a few of my posts & wished I could take the words back. I HOPE I've been able to disagree and still leave a poster with their dignity intact.
Words can hurt SO MUCH! Posting on an anoymous site can be a blessing and a curse. Some posters have chosen to be a curse, others have been kind, wise, inspirational, hilarious and caring. IMVHO...I want to be a part of the latter. Hang in there, SV, don't bite the bait! Show us what you are made of and who you are! I'm listening!

regarding SV, you are in for a big surprise - just don't take it personal. SV is very funny and he gives much entertainment value for the dollar.
