Last weekend I watched Little House On the Prairie episodes w/ my grandaughter. Watching those episodes opened up some very beautiful discussions.
Got to thinking about ''Highway To Heaven''. A Christmas Gift I received last year was a DVD collection of ''Touched By An Angel.''
I don't walk around town w/ a bible in my pocket. I do carry appreciation for others that share love & compassion for others in my heart. Michael Landon & Victor French were such an inspiration & contributed so much! The producers of ''Touched By An Angel'' are heroes.
Our kids are exposed to so much negative media. We have the opportunity to intervene! Expose our youth to these very shows. Watch them with them, listen & respond?
Tis the season to be jolly...& to share why the season exists! NO STRESS?... Love, peace & compassion is the only gift requested.

TLOU, We love those shows

I have several of the Little House on Prairie shows. Sometimes when it is bad weather outside, I will suggest that we watch them. My children will complain and say they want to watch something else. I will put Little House on anyway. Once they start watching they don't want to quit. Those shows have such great lessons for children to learn. Every Christmas season we always watch the Christmas episode that was the equivelant of ''The Gift of the Maji''. Thanks for sharing!
