8 people were killed. If a mall full of folks opened up, would we have less than 8? Bystanders in the shoot out might well be hit and lead to more than 8 deaths. And the shooter might well plan for this and do something worse.

I am not suggesting any gun control laws, but I think the assumption that we would be safer if everyone was armed is suspect.

what I think is dumb


is that this guy left a note, saying he would be famous, and of course the media just keeps doing that for him. showing new pictures of him, talking about it still. talk about the victims yeah? I dont care to hear about some idiot that couldnt handle life.

You might be surprised what they would think. But the truth is, I'm asking for a reasoned, logical assessment and not emotional short cuts. What do you think would happen with a large number of unskilled, panicked, young folks armed?
