I know you want to pump him up and be personal about things, but logically it was not a good or valid point. He can't know what those people would think or feel. Many city folk who see violence regularly with guns favor stricter laws. That doesn't mean they are right, but Bobsdad's logic would say they should feel the opposite. They don't.

You know as well as I do the flaws in his flippant response. You ignore it because it suits you I suppose, but that doesn't change anything. Fallacious logic is what it is.
