Anyway, Bush did two things, one right, one wrong. He realized we had to meet force with more force. That was right. He did it with too little manpower. That was wrong. Don't even ask where are the WMD'S. Everyone paying attention knows they were moved out of Iraq and into the Bekaa valley and maybe beyond.
Now, go back to the days of the Roman empire and try to stay with me here. How did Rome fall? Partly from within. Lots of little intrigues and power struggles going on. Does that sound familiar? Partly because Rome's military was spread too thin over a lot of territory. Rome began using mercenaries to help bolster the ranks of the military. Meanwhile, the citizens of Rome amused themselves at the games oblivious to what was coming.
We are squabbling over BS when we should be united against terrorism and terrorists. Terrorists see this and know that if they show a little force we will pull against each other, wasting time, men and weakening ourselves. Meanwhile we happily wander around walmart buying the cheap chinese junk, profits from which is helping support terrorists.
