Not a great day

I went in today for my 5th of 6 monthly Chemo treatments and found out my potassium level had dropped down from the small dip last month.
I have been eating my share plus a few more bananas and it did not help.
The Doctor talked about a stem cell implant if I qualify, but for now a ton of tests will be done before my next monthly appointment.
We will then make a decision after the test results are in.
In the meantime look out fish because here I come.

Kenn

Keeping eating those BA-NA-NA Bananas. It won't hurt and they taste great.
I admire you Kenn. Your willingness to discuss your illness here, which I hope doesn't mean you don't have a strong support in person, shows what kind of person you probably are.
I meant no disrespect to your posts.
I'm curious, if you care to disclose, what your insurance situation is? Something tells me you've been a penny pincher, but the costs of your illness are usually insurrmountable.

Good luck to you my friend.

Hey Kenn, I forgot

I don't know your situation, but I remember watching a report on 20/20 of a man who had intestinal cancer and he started eating apple seeds, and it went into remission.
Sounds silly, and perhaps it is, but research never hurt, right?
