First Nedl, you just had to go and get yourself deleted, just like me. I know you and others are enamered with my quick wit and enormous venacular, but please. I am the Drunken Master, and only me.
Second, in regards to your post on Bush, let me re-state my response. Pllllease!!!
While you and other Bushies would like to blame the citizens of this country for the cluster-f*** in Iraq (which, as I pointed out, has now lasted longer than WWII), the fact of the matter is poor planning, overzealous leaders, egotistical and evangelical agendas, and the thirst for oil to remain as our main source of energy(we're now in a turf war with Russia, China and others to stake claim in the Arctic for drilling monopolization) are the reasons this war is dragging on. The varied opinions and divisiveness in both parties is not a valid scapegoat for the failure in Iraq, but more a barometer of the way we all need to start doing business. Most of us agree that the War is a bust, but no one will stand behind a solution, except maybe Ron Paul, Joe Biden and Dennis Kucinich. Our military savvy, technological superiority and supposed preparatory skills seem to lack those of our adversaries. While I won't deny that insanity can be a great weapon in fighting an enemy, I WILL NOT concede that Muslim sentiment vs. supposed lack of American patriotism is the leading cause in GW's blunder.
The solution to this quagmire does not lie within the current admin., nor does it necessarily lie with whoever whens the next election. It lies within the power of the people to speak out for what it is they discuss around coffee tables, pitchers of beer, and places like this. It is the people, and only the people, who can truly make a change. We need a Congress of people who ''represent the general public'', not special interests.
Unfortunately, Americans are too fat and generally too selfish to back the greater good of the masses and to eager to cover their own asses!!
You can quote me on that cuz' that was pretty good.
Peace.
