I would say that we should give the President elect and the new Congress a fair chance before we condemn them.

I remember you saying on finding the weapons of mass destruction that we had only been in Iraq for six months, so give them a chance. So lets give the newly elected people a chance like you asked for.

We will see soon enough if they are willing to cross party lines for the good of the country. I really hope that both houses are up to the job that faces them.

This poll isn't about what I think, kenn. I was not "polled". However, look at the numbers. Give them a chance? The whole point is, kenn, the liberal Congress has been in office for two years now. Their job ratings have sunk nearly monthly over that time. Give them a chance? A chance to derail? I certainly am not responsible for voting for this mess. Liberals in charge were full of promises two (+) years ago. They have been full of promises during the whole past election cycle. How much time do we give them?

And...we found many WMDs. Not what was expected; but many caches. We even got Saddam. In months rather than years.

I also was not polled and I have looked at the numbers, and you know that if you do not have a veto proof majority you can get nothing through that the President does not want passed.

The majority have spoken and it does not matter what we think that is the way it will be. I just hope that we have enough good people from both party's to help clean up the mess that we are in. Until both sides decide to work together we are and will be in a mess.

It is time to forget the politics and get something done for the country.
