Hi BB,TP,GT etc.Smile

There does seem to be a few discrepancies within attitudes vs facts. Obama did in fact say our troops would be home sooner than they have so far, but we all knew that dream was made from a pipe to start with, so no surprise. However, that lowest number of deaths both militarily and civil have been the lowest over all, the past year than in any year since the fighting started. But I'm sure both take credit for that since the "surge" has been hailed as the great problem solver. Or if you send enough feet to stomp the bugs, sooner or later you get most of em.

The war was not granted under a democratic control in Oct. 2002. It was a republican majority of 271 repubs to dems. 264 w/one seat majority in the senate. hardly a working majority. But as I'm sure some would like to point out? there were 61% of the house dems and 42% of the senate dems. who voted NOT to give Bush the go. Only nine Repubs and two independents voted Nay/NO.

But like Gramma said so well before we lost her. "It doesn't matter who voted to give Bush his GREAT TRUST?///war::: Because just like when I go see my doctor(s) and they tell me I need a procedure that turns out not to be the truth, well by GOD that's not my fault. It's those professionals fault." "The Commander In Chief, and his professionals(doctors) are responsible for the misinformation presented to congress that sent a majority to vote YES.(operation)." That has now caused the deaths of well on the way to two million. On the way to a Thousand Million $. One costly series of regrets all the way around. Getting out of there just like Viet Nam and Korea is as well a nobler cause than starting it in the first place. In spite of my wish for the leader of the "free world"  Nov. 2008, I think he's done as well there, than any other might also have done in all this mess. Like I said before, It seems easy to toss stones at the glass house when you built it in the first place, but no longer live in it.
