Ya know...it just doesn't help with America's moral fiber, prestige, and honor, when one posts on a public message board, for the world to see, that they actually hate other human beings by name! It can't do our world image any good when that person named also happens to be our sitting US president. I can't quite look at those individuals as glass half-full type of persons. But that is just my opinion; just like anyone else has, and it means just as much as anyone's opinion here. But I just can't bring myself to use the word hate, like others are so free with.

The truth of our leaders isn't liberal or conservative. It's absolutely neutral to be able to point at the card and call it what it is. The post was a  recognition of facts and the truth regarding a horrible time and still is in our history, that Mallory was spot on::: there in her post. Notice:::I clearly indicated a wide range of our Executive branch politicians and that sadly as a matter of utter fact, the majority have been Repubs. The odds alone favor the Repubs in the order and strength of scandal and crime. I clearly stated that Dems too were::: oh so naughty. Lets all join hands and wait for Obama's foibles and then we'll point them out too. I'm sorry there are so many who prefer to ignore the one but not the other. Just this morning we learned that going back at least five years government staffers have been perusing pornographic material while on the job to the tune of thousands, both men, women, repubs and dems. Again we see the trees of both forests.

As for my gold and power? Without knowing you or you knowing me, I'd say we stand an equal chance. But I can certainly tell you kind sir, I have no gold and absolutely no power. So my walk sustained by my faith and lacking either, should they take me along that narrow path? Might be easier than for some. But the book says many.

You are right BigB! I agree and in my reply to mallory, I hadn't really considered the global perspective somr of my comments might convey. To America as a whole:::I apologise. However, I wouldn't exclaim hatred and loathing to a specific person or even a group. But an idea and the actions of so many? That I can hate. I do indeed get depressed and saddened by the duplicitous, underhanded cads we haphazardly place in office so often. The sheer numbers of these unscrupulous characters is what's so sad. In psychology classes back home I learned a whole lot about human nature and I gotta tell ya, it's oh so dark and much more prevalent than many think. It's also globally true and by that::: America by no means stands alone in that shame. So as you, I do try to look in my half full glass but almost daily I realize, some cad "killed my puppy" :::again. I have yet to read a post declaring hatred for our president, current or past. Where do we draw the line though once we learn that we have been wrong and wronged by who we elected. How many half full glasses can we sustain before we've had enough? I sure don't know but have begun to think it's hopeless. I'll be forty in July and though I have not been aboard mother Earth that long, I'm just sick of the way and the speed at which our electeds have seemingly begun to destroy the future, and at the hands of both parties.

I know we all seem to stand either in this corner or that corner and at times:::we even see the moon the same way and time from different places. Agree or disagree, there is certainly one commonality we can lock hands upon::: It's that most our politicians do not understand what they were elected for once they get the job. I enjoy the scope of wisdom, overt and subtle genius some of you guys and gals flash across these pages. I take most things here in stride and try to remain respectful and understanding. Here lately I think some have crossed a line or two:::UncleB:::included, regarding others among this Comm. link, especially the name calling and certainties we do not have. But then I read some messages like yours here and get a warmer feeling and my glass nears full again astride my new puppy.

If you've never seen anyone express hatred for a President, you haven't looked far enough.  Our boy TP is quite the hater.
