Regardless of innocents or guilt, this would not justify a law that blindly allows the detention of all brown skinned people until citizenship was proved.

I'm telling you guys, all this Democrat squeeling about the "rights of illegals" is only about potential votes! I'm dead serious. Democrat votes and potential democrat votes are basically behind the Health Care law also. Watch what they actually do, not what they say. They will do anything to rig things in their favor, regardless of it's affect on our country and citizens. |

You must have a hard time reading or havent bothered to read the law from Arizoina--I presume that is what you are refering to here. The law makes no mention of skin color. None whatsoever. NO ONE is suggesting that anyone be detained based upon skin color. Once again it is shown that TP can not read or chooses not to. Really? I admit there has to be a bit of logic used in accepting my words, but for most that's not a problem.
Arizona passed a sweeping and controversial immigration bill authorizing police officers to stop suspected illegal immigrants and demand proof of citizenship. Logic tells us the majority of the immigrants are Spanish speaking and brown skinned. Can you argue that fact? No. So the law itself incourages the profiling of brown skinned, Spanish speaking Americans.

I agree, perhaps it isn't even about legal and illegal, perhaps it is about state's rights over the domineering federal goverment, and it is about Republican vs Democrat. In other words the same old crap that is not going to help anyone, even those of color. |
