You know, the rags to riches religous path has always been a fine avenue for those *Christians* who actually think wealth is their own and that there might be a chance to take it with them. To the bank yes, but not beyond. You have a few good points here and it's so sad. The other fella has a good point too, but pay tends to be the issue we don't get nuch say in. Tax em and all that will change and perhaps a few of those might actually walk through the pearly gates.

I vividly remember when preacher Jim Baker was on 60 Minutes or some such show before he got in trouble. They were taking a tour of his ornate mansion with the camera crew. The reporter asked why he had to have real gold-enlaid faucets in his bathrooms. He responded with, "God does not own any junk!"  Extreme-ism is everywhere...

Here here!  and give that man a cigar! Let's not forget our good ole buddy Swaggert or Roberts last gasp. Just a bunch a human beings taking the easy money route. Religion.

I had a childhood friend who became a preacher, much to my surprise. I ask why a preacher?  His answer was it's better than working.
