It doesn't really matter what any of our interpretations are save to ourselves and the Lord. But to be fair you really have said nothing as to how if any, our interpretations actually differ. Plus I never said I was right, but what the savior said. It can easily be seen in most of Revelation. What's right to you then? Perhaps even you do not know.
What Baker has to do with it since even though his preaching was within ALL of the mainstream christianty teachings, is obvious. he just took it under the table and to the bank, well for a while. Because nothing preached outside the bible is considered the word. But it is that which we on the right always have done. We herald ourselves up above others as though we fear God more than the left. I simply indicated that was a real good idea based on camels, needles, heaven and the love of money. Your offered nothing otherwise. So, even if I am wrong, at least I never smoked.

That's quite a presumption!  Please speak only for yourself. 

      Most conservatives that I know realilze how fallible we are, especially those who think they know how others should spend their money and how they should live their lives.  That's why we want to live our own lives in liberty and want the feds to get out of our and other's lives.  Doesn't mean we think we are "above others", only that we all should be allowed the freedom we should have inherited from our founding fathers.  By the way, I don't "fear God".  I don't believe he's that interested in the details of my life or anyones, only in the general conduct and outcome.  Of course we all believe what we want, that's why they call it "faith" or "beliefs".

True. In defiance of the phrase moral majority was my point. We are not and it certainly didn't come from the left. Whether or not you, me, or any other poster has exlaimed that is not clear and wasn't meant to be any personal comment regarding anyone here. If we are conservatives, right wingers, and republicans then the phrase should never be used by either those on the right or the left. No argument.
