Muscatine

I'm in pain. This stuff is too much for my old rattling frame. Sometimes I wake up listening to all the misdirected pointing and tomfoolery and think, do people really have the capacity to erase an entire decade before this man took over? I'll have to admit I vote the conservative right and always have. But by God that change we seem to think we need has got to come from a will to live- type of drive to change that thinking. I do not like obama, but he did not do this to our country. As my husband said three years ago, honey why do you think you felt like staying home tonight. He was right, I almost stayed home because I already knew McCain wasn't really there to win nor would he. But I did it anyway and asked the Lord to let my people keep the white house. So today we laugh and jab at the man I didn't want to win, that had nothing to do with wiping out our economy. But deep within my heart I was happy that McCain wasn't the one everyone wants to blame for what the other guys did. I seem to still like Romney or Paul. I think of stamps when I look over the past 13 years. You know, the guy in Charade who held a fortune in his hands but was honest enough, when she went back to the shop to see if they were still there? Yeah you know the one, upside down biplane. He had the integrity to return the fortune he could have had. I feel America is like that little boy who traded a few old stamps for a huge bag full of crap. Only during the Bush years they kept the stamps and let the majority of us Americans keep the crap. I do not want that kind of integrity in the white house and congress. They should give us our stamps back, we didn't realize what we had before the free traders, bankers and brokers took them over.
