Tea Party vs. Nazi Party

We need a party without political borders that understands what this nation was founded for and under what principals we were founded. It seems neither of our choices quite get that the foundations of this great nation have been fogged over and fogotten. I wouldn't have gone the nazi route, but the more I hear of bachman, the less I understand what the hell she really stands for. The tea party, if I understand it, wasn't started out of a desire to rule over the littlest angel, but to equalize the peoples power with the government's power. But somehwere along the way that seems to be fading into a fight over who should be taxed at what. To me that's a simple task. A FLAT RATE, NO LOOPHOLES FOR ANYONE.

What you're asking is for the rich and the poor to pay more. The poor being the largest group would not accept that via voting. The rich has the money to buy groups like the Tea party, Democrats, and Republicans and would never agree. In the end the smallest group of all pays the bill, the middle class.

Well if you are like us, in the middle already and for decades now, I'd be happy to pay that 15%, hell even 17% is a leg up for us. Plus if you have so little, you pay that much less. I realize I speak for myself, but if you already pay a higher rate than that, at what ever your income level is, then how is that more. I see your point however, but if you polled ALL those with that 90% of ALL the money, they wouldn't like that plan, and by God they do not already. I see it as a win for everyone. Why on earth does anyone think we have over a 1000 page tyax code in the first place, so thos with the most get to pay less. I think that bares repeating. Those   with   the  MOST  get  to  pay  less. It's why we are so tax poor in the first place. There is such a huge gap now with the poorest having nothing to pay with and the richest, having most of it to pay with, but thanks to the unscrupulous bums on capital hill, they pay very little too. The end result is no tax base at all. Or   America is broke, and jobless.
