If we just didn't have them there loopyholes, it wouldn't be an issue. Actually, since the minimum was last raised, we don't get a mortgage deduction any longer, no matter how badly we need it. We would have to owe another $36,000 and pay a higher rate to get it now. So who in their right mind but a quite rich person would do that. I have no problem telling anyone what we payt in taxes. Bu God there are alot of them too. I think mr buffet thinks he's doing a public service by showing that there is a serious disparity between those with the most and the least. Especially those who work their butts off to just get by and get no breaks. Pointing out a fact of this nature isn't really so bad, like him or not. I say take it all away and as mr. hiroad put it. 17% and shut up. *I mean 15% and please shut up.

I think buffet was a republican for much of his rise. Just like reagan was a democrat through his rise. He kinda shows that money doesn't actually dictate our poltical affiliation, and there can be some financial integrity regardless of our wealth.

Just Curious, do you ever think that he may be correct.  No, I'm sure, that would require you to think, and for you thats hard and rarely happens.   How about that secretary who has to work to protect and support her family.  Come on, get off your rediculous grand standing.   Buffet didn't get wealthy because he was stupid, he is way above your level, and should be believed much more so that a bad statement on a local gossip blog.
