I agree that the graphs are not to scale, but that is not the point.  The point of the discussion is that the democrat stimulus failed, not the measure of how much worse off we are now.  We are worse off, contrary to what was promised.  That is the point.

And regarding your long list of things you think the federal government needs to do, much of these should be the responsibility of the individual states, not the feds or the individual.

Re:  The list.  It's amazing that she apparently can't come up with any examples of the countless wastes of money that could be trimmed to make her list possible, all while lowering taxes.  It's so simple, yet so difficult for one with a closed mind. 

The part of obama's job speech that we all enjoyed was that he is no longer saying stupid things like the 'summer of recovery', 'we are headed in the right direction', and the economy is 'sound'. He finally let his mouth say the words that we are in economic crisis. Someone in his admin must have said to him that he was sounding stupid to utter those words when the proof of the economy is staring him in the face. Deep down, I don't think that he believes it, it must be a campaign tactic.

So, Stench, are you willing to get along without all those services?   Or is it that you'll use them but are willing to be a selfish deadbeat and let others pay for them?
