Who said the city can't do anything?

Please Muscatine, quit the jumbo mumbo and do something to stop it, or you will all pay with your health.  Earlier it has been stated on loosing rights, again with jumbo mumbo on something about grass and burning.  How far does a Muscatine resident permit the City to go in their rights infringment efforts?   Obvously too far in many peoples eyes.   For once bloggers, do something progressive cause solutions, not english lessons or stupid nitty picking.

And what would you suggest we should do?  You say we need change and solutions, what are they?  Vote out the city council and replace them?  With who?  No one is willing to run.  Ward five the rep is resigning to run for mayor and no one has raised their hand to take her place.  Ward three Tom Spread is running unopposed because no one else would run.  Phil Fitzgerald has been on the council for almost 20 years now, how many times has he run unopposed?  So I am curious about your solutions.  Are you willing to run and change thing?

It is easy to sit back and criticize, but that gets us no where.  The time for complaining is over, it is time to put up or shut up.  Give us some solutions, some outside of the box thinking that helps these problems.  Get off your ass and run for something.  Just hope they don't have a spelling test for the position you are running for.
