Yup, it's all decided. At least it looks like perry vs obama in 2012. I watched his address to whomever, regarding palestine and the obamba guideline. If the 1967 borders are his goal we will lose our alliance with Israel in short order. Perry did a good job of pointing out the foibles of this idea. Why him and none of the others is a given I think. Thoughts?

I think Perry is a good choice. True, he's a bit rough around the edges but America need a firm but intelligent hand right now. The liberal press is trying to use Perry's Christian values against him. They attack Romney for his Mormanism as well. But, c'mon, look what got elected in 2008. Perry understands the value of a strong Israel in that neighborhood, thanks to Perry's strong Christian attitude.

I believe our number-one priority must be securing the borders and ridding the country of illegals.  I also believe that once that has been done, many of our other pressing problems will be taken care of simply by the course of that action.  That being said, I am not convinced that Mr. Perry has an eye toward this end as much as Mr. Romney.  I watched the second debate, and Mr. Romneys "strong fences make good neighbors"outlook is more to my liking.  As another poster mentioned though, I wish there were lots of guns along those fences.

What is our benefit in an alliance with Israel?   What do we get from it?   They antagonize the Palestinians and along with them the entire Arab world and we're supposed to come to their defense?  When we do, we only get to share their anger.
