Muscatine

Cut off both feet then head

I saw on tv that the potus is taking a bus tour to VA and NC to sell his jobs bill. Perhaps a walk to the United States Senate is in order as - fortunately - his jobs bill did not pass in the dem-controlled  Senate. What part of temporary, taxpayer funded jobs does he think is a fix instead of  real jobs that help the economy grow? He and his advisors are clearly clueless.

He got a majority in the Senate.    Just didn't get enough votes to overcome the perpetual Republican filibuster.    The party of "NO".

So why didn't he get enough votes? Is it because some members of the Senate realize that this is a piece of crap bill and they will catch holy hell from the voters if they vote for it? It would appear that some dems are nay-sayers - it has become bi-partisan to say no.

I told you.   The party of no.   They will vote against anything that might make the economy look a little better before the next election.
