It amazes me that people are against Social Security that they have convinced the candidates to want to kill the most beneficial system to the elderly perhaps ever invented.  Medicare as well.

There is one additional thing the Candidates should be aware of as well;  the elderly don't retire from their job out of fear there Social Security will be eliminated.  This leaves no room for the younger people to get a job as well.   Try to get a job as a instructor at a University.  The"Professor" may be 80 years old, teaches only one class, but won't quit because he has tenure.

Regardless, Social Security and Medicare is dead if you vote for a Republican next election. 

The bullshit never dies.

On the contrary, social security, medicare, and especially medicaide are absolutely going to crash and burn if you don't vote for a Republican next time!  Their only hope is some kind of restructuring for the future such as in the Ryan plan that would take steps to preserve these safety nets.  The democrats are too gutless to do anything about it and are only concerned with the short term voter reaction, to hell with the future.
