If the bigbusiness and banks are making making too much money, why is there so much unemployment?  If it is true for the 1%, why isn't trickle down economics working?

This is just a guess on my part as the only thing I have to trickle happens in the middle of the night, is because they are so unsure of the future.  With Obamacare looming and no one really understanding what the final cost of that is going to be... with liberals in charge just hoping to pass bills and increase spending, and getting the rich to pay for those who won't or don't work, I think I would hang on to what I have too.  Its called confidence in our government and right now I think a lot of people don't have much of that right now.

I think a big part of the problem is that the wealth is concentrated in to few hands.   The 1%.   The rest of us have few discretionary funds to purchase things.   So there is no incentive to produce things.   Which means there is no incentive to build production facilities or hire workers.

Giving the wealthy and corporations more money through tax breaks will not solve the problem.   They're sitting on trillions now with no movement to release it because of the reasons given above.

The tax breaks should go to the middle and lower classes and the top should pick up the slack.

Long live the occupiers.

"The tax breaks should go to the middle and lower classes and the top should pick up the slack."

When you talk about "class", I assume you mean economic class.(?)...

Much of the lower "middle class", and all of the "lower class", pay no income taxes now.  How are you going to give them more tax breaks?

I am a member of the 53% that come from households that actually pay income tax.  I don't want a tax break unless everyone who pays taxes also gets a tax break!  My parents didn't raise me to envy people or be jealous of those that have more than I do.  What I have, my wife and I worked for.  Taking money from the "top 1%" won't help me a bit.  And won't make me "feel" all fuzzy inside, like it would you and the other commie/socialist fools.

When the Obumbler and his idiots are gone, people will regain confidence and hope and the economy will improve.
