Closer to Revolt

Posted in: Muscatine

I remember the 60s and 70s when the "young people" were revolting seems the establishment won back then and my guess is they will again. Maybe the black helicopters will land on Tipton Rd. and take you away from all this.

and you think that's exceptable behavoir from a government of a free country!!!!

It's "acceptable", you illiterate boob.

Thanks you The Fox, I was about to comment when I noticed your post.

It was "acceptable" behavior by the government as they were protecting small and big businesses alike in the city I lived in at the time.

I, too, get some 'yuks' from reading some of the posts. Recently BDI wrote about the constitution giving us the right to "bare arms'. If that is true then the constitution should give us the right to jackets since the weather is not very conducive to bare arms in Iowa. We need to remember that laughter is good for the health and these illiterate boobs are keeping us healthy.

Mr. Brain remembers the 60 - 70's.  There is a major difdference the "protesters" in the 60-'s got jobs and settled down into making a living. ie. got absorbed into society, many became middle class citizens.

This time around, there are no jobs, the 1% is raping the 99%, and death of middle class may have already occured.   This, makes for a very dangerous society.  Additionally, in the "Great Depression" there was a social importance that the family entity was paramont, work a hard day and put food on the table.  Be proud of your job.   That doesn't exist today.  Baby Boomers are in fact outnumbered by their younger ones, and Republicans are even going to Kill Social Security and Medicare to permit the elders the right to starve or die from no food or medical help.

Keep the 1% wealthy, however.

How much are the annual dues for the Society of Pessimists - or are you a lifetime member? Perhaps you are a member of the I Hate club as we don't see any positive from you. At any rate keep it up and your negative attitude will get the best of you.
