Oakland California closes down. When will it come to Muscatine. Wall Streeters will cause change, and its happening now. All of our conservative thinking is obsolete, all of our working for the 1% will be challenged. The put down "if you don't like it, move" may come to be " those liberal Republicans" and " conservative is bad".
My friends, if you are one of those right wingers, you just got fired. Muscatine's City Council is going to make more change in the next two years than they have in the past 10 years. Either Roby or Hoppie (both right wing nut jobs) will be required to show more leadership than any Mayor in the last 50 years. Muscatine's 1% group will no longer be capable of controlling the city with a iron hand, and the 99% people will take command.
It will be enjoyable to watch. I think the loosers will be the Attorney's because of greed, the law enforcement people because of good old boy mentality, the medical people because of professional jealousy, and definitely the Securities Insurance people because of political stupidity. Financial leaders for Muscatine, Credit Unions. Good by Muscatine Journal (they did it to themselves), and Chamber of Commerce (they did because they are a mouth piece of only the 1%).
