Guys, it's like I said, somebody trying to make things sound worse than they are. They minimized the area and exaggerated the cost. There is no 12 acre park fronting city hall. Twelve acres is a square 733 ft on a side. Over 4 city blocks. It's not there. How's that for a pesky fact? Don't believe all the lies you're told. |

Gosh, Wikipedia and a few other sources indicate that BigBrothers was actually a little low on his estimate on the size of this area. It's actually closer to 16 acres.
The fact that it's not completed yet might explain the high cost of repairing all of the damage.
