Moroon, again. The occupy crowd were in the park that joins city hall. Its a city-county joint venture. Most of the automatic watering system was destroyed as well. Grand Avenue Civic Park fronting city hall is 12 acres all by itself.

I don't care where all they were.   Hiroad sent an article that said $400,000 to repair the LAWN.   It was even underlined.   So, was I lied to?

Yeah, we don't care about those pesky facts.  Hang on......I'll find a movie about that.  Anything by Michael Moore oughta do.

Guys, it's like I said, somebody trying to make things sound worse than they are.   They minimized the area and exaggerated the cost.

There is no 12 acre park fronting city hall.   Twelve acres is a square 733 ft on a side.   Over 4 city blocks.   It's not there.
At least it wasn't there on March 7, 2011 when the Google Earth picture was made.

How's that for a pesky fact?

Don't believe all the lies you're told.

Gosh, Wikipedia and a few other sources indicate that BigBrothers was actually a little low on his estimate on the size of this area.  It's actually closer to 16 acres.

The fact that it's not completed yet might explain the high cost of repairing all of the damage.

Nice try Mal.  But to believe your version, we'd have to believe you know how to use Google Earth.
