Can you expand on your argument about the Stanley jobs? On a big contract overseas, what percent of the work is done in Muscatine and what percent on site? I asked you about this elsewhere and got no response yet.
It does not matter. You said Stanley's gets contracts and that provides jobs in Muscatine. Prove it. Keeping it simple for ya, mallcontent. Back to the basics of your claim. No word fluff here. Just prove what you posted before that jobs have been created in Muscatine when Stanley's gets overseas contracts! This is an old argument that you could close anytime. But you seem unable to.
I could have Dick Stanley e-mail you and you would still say it isn't proof. But as I said I know the answer in two cases. One, there were two people sent on site and about a dozen worked on it in Muscatine. Two, there was one sent on site and at least two dozen worked on it in Muscatine.
Simple logic should tell you I'm right. Why would Stanley go to the expense of setting up an office overseas and staff it with engineers, graphic artists, secratarial assistants, accountants, specification writers etc. when they have all those facilities here? There are also telephones, copiers, computers, and printing facilities. They don't do it on big domestic jobs for all the same reasons.
As an example, you don't need to be on site to prepare plans and specifications to lay out the lighting and runway marking for an air field.
When you were a consultant you surely understood this.
Just like the Iowa pollution in the Gulf argument. I'm still waiting to see those lab test results that identify Iowa's farm run-off pollution in the Gulf! (Missouri river notwithstanding!) he he he
Tell me your field of science background so I can taylor my response. I already know I have to present it at least as simple as an 11 year old girl will understand. I just don't know how much more.
