Given the opportunity, I would ask each and every Presidential candidate, "Will you secure the borders of this country?  I'm with you Miss Iowa.  Until the borders are secure, all other problems that this country faces are relegated to second on the list. 

I agree that the border must be secured and if we are no longer giving jobs, welfare and medical care to folks who do not respect our country enough to become a legal citizen, I truly believe that this will boost the economy - probably a lot more than that payroll tax stupidity. BTW - this afternoon I heard the POS potus say that a wage earner with a 50K income would have 1000 dollar tax cut, then he goes on to say "40 dollars a week". I am no math whiz, but I know that 40 times 52 is not 1000. So he either can't read the teleprompter or whoever wrote that for him needs to go back to grade school.

As to that payroll tax bull - what the hell is two months? Congress has not made a budget in over 900 days and they go down to the wire every few months to keep the govt going and now they approve a two month extension on a tax cut? Two months??? Either do a year or forget it and frankly I am in favor of forgetting it. Social Security is going broke and we decide that smart thing to do is to not require folks to pay into it? So 160 million folks will not pay at least 1000 dollars into the fund. Dear Gawd, who thinks this makes sense? How about the govt quit spending so dam much?
