Let me take a shot at this one. RonPaul is known as Dr. No on capitol hill. He will not vote to increase your taxes and spend your money and vote on useless bills that are full with either whether those items are buried in the botum of the bill or not. His bills and amendments have failed because his fellow legislators have been bought and paid for by Corporate lobbyists. Both parties are rotten to core and will spend us into bankruptcy with 18 months (if we get that far). 

I can't address every bill and amendment that he has put forward but I will say that HR 1207 the Audit the Fed bill was almost successful. That bill alone sent the (private bank) of the Federal Reserve scurrying to defeat it. If it was passed ALL americans would realize overnight that the FED has been taking our money and giving it too Foreign Banks, Wall Street Firms and Insurance company's. Not to mention the fact that the owners of the Federal Reserve (which is a private corporation) is owned by Banks and private individuals some on Wall Street and some of these banks are Foreign Banks.

Thank God we have someone that is at least trying to threaten these interests.

FYI - Ron Paul has a 1 for 260 record. The one bill that he sponsored that passed was to sell some building in Texas. "Almost successful" is like 'also ran' - not very impressive and certainly NOT successful. It is not indicative of any kind of leadership skills or bipartisan or any of those other working together phrases that those in power like to use. He talks a lot, but gives no plans for 'fixing' anything. He abandoned the Libertarians as he knew he could get nowhere with that as his party. So I am happy for you that you have joined his cult. Enjoy the ride.

Would you call the current leadership successful? with either party? I would say that the bipartisan ship you so fond of talking about has done nothing but put us in the predicament that we are currently in.. 

They passed 40,000 laws last year. I would like to give me a highlight of those bills that didn't try to spend the next generation down the river, take away some more of your freedoms or set up sanctions to start another war that won't get us anywhere..

It is funny because obviously you haven't listened to Ron Paul other than Fox news or Rush Limbaugh sound bites..

His general plan is take away some of the power from Congress and the executive branch and it give it back to us WE THE PEOPLE.  Through states rights..

All of this leadership that you are so found of is a symptom of what is wrong. It would be better for DC to come to screeching halt than continue with this nonsense..
