Mobay, you succored me into looking at some of this. I have a simple question. What does this have to do with anything?
well mal pretty self explanatory if you watched it but I'll try to help. the debate about obama's birthplace really doesn't matter, why you ask , well because of the article 2 section 1 of the U.S. constitution it states "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States".
Now the founding fathers used many sources and studied history so they could give us the best government they could. One of the books they used was law of nations by Emmerich de Vattel, in fact one of the two books george washington never returned to the library was the law of nations. Now vattel believed that to have a good country and government that you needed it to remain in the hands of a natural born citizen. He believed that a person with one parent (he stated father, probably because of the times) was a foreigner that the citizen might have foreign influence that is not good for the country. The founders believed that the commander and cheif should not have any foreign influences is why it says Natural Born Citizen. this video shows how much the founders used and referenced the book law of nations to prove that they used vattels meaning of natural born citizen!
since obama was not born at the time the constitution was adopted he must be a natural born citizen. which is born of two citizens!!!! here is the law of nations site!!!
