Well, you obviously ignored the rest of the situation!!!!

Why not caution him about running on concrete surfaces. Probably should direct him to grassy areas or wooden floors. Otherwise the knees will pay someday. And jogging with a woman from work is not necessarily a problem. But, in order to improve their job security, they may want to run toward work rather from from work. In other words, do the running in the morning rather than at the end of the work day.
