There are some comments on the Journal's site but nothing indicating why he is gone. My personal opinion is that Chris was a little too much into himself and regarded his opinions the most popular opinions. I think limiting the comments was the beginning of the end for Chris. The paper turned into a warm and fuzzy place to go to read warm and fuzzy stories. While good news is great to read about, news is news and I think most people want all the news, good and bad. And follow up on stories. I don't know how many time the paper printed an article about an incident and never printed the outcome. Just my opinion of course. We will see.
