I had hoped to remind Mallory that it's all about appearences. Substance just doesn't matter, especially here in Aledo......not that one. Sell yourself as a free thinking independent, then take every oppurtunity to criticize those nasty boogers on the right. The ol' shuck and jive side step boogie woogie, as we used to call it after a few Falstaffs down at the Legion Hall. Reminds me of the time Robert sold the old Jeepster to Mr. Hanson down the road. Now the Jeepster was in sorry shape due to years of neglect on our part, but Robert took the time to poor sawdust in the carb, air up the tires for as long as they'd hold air, patch all the leaks with silly putty, and shine 'er up. Well, Stan Hanson took one look at 'er and forked over that 250$. I'll be darned if that car didn't blow up just a few blocks down the street. Stan came storming back to our porch, demanded his cash back, but Robert took the time to blame all the cars problems on the previous owner, even though we'd owned the car for nigh onto 4 years. Stan was not appeased, blackened Roberts eye, and promised him another to match if he showed up at the Legion Hall for bingo. We thought it best to not play bingo anymore, and thank goodness the horse track opened in the QC.
