As the fellows from Monty Python said in the "dead parrot" sketch......."Not dead, just resting".

That guy Republican told me that BDI, TP, and Mal went to Vegas.  BDI drove, but got sidetracked when her GPS sent her to Aledo, Illinois rather than Aledo, Maryland.  They ended up being a couple of days late, what with Mal being confused by the whole "east-west" thing, and TP having to stop and pee all the time.  Apparently once they got checked in to the Golden Lasso Motel, there was scarcely little time left for gambling and such, so they just took in Wayne Newtons performance, which confused Mal since she thought Wayne had died back in '07.  TP got sick on the 99 cent shrimp cocktails, and BDI got tossed from Ceasars for swimming in the fountains after hours. 

Sounds like quite the trip. Glad that I am right here in Iowa. It should be warming up starting on Wed as the pos potus is coming to Ia City so the hot air will be plentiful. Hope we don't get a cold front also and cause a tornado. Last week he was telling us that this country's prosperity does not trickle down, but grows from the bottom. Not sure how that works or what he means by that, but I've been looking around at some of the folks who look like they be poor and didn't see anything growing - thank gawd! Guess we just need to keep lookin'.
