Muscatine

Shut GPC down.

Any food products that include corn derivitaves will go up in cost.  Employment of local people will drop by 1000+.  The economy of Muscatine will continue to decline.

Now who do you have to blame?  Yourself, for being so damn ignorant.  Along with Hon, this is the largest industry you have here.  Shut it down, and then complain in five years about the condition.

You are idiots.

The idiot is you, there is no effort to shut down GPC.  Derivitaves going up in cost is also false, what makes you think that GPC is the only one that makes derivitaves, maltra, etc. ADM, and many others do, AND THEY DON'T POLLUTE AS GPC DOES.  What will happen is GPC will finally get the message they need to clean up their act.  Others have, others will also be taken to task for their violations also.  

Don't oh poor me, or poor Muscatine, as it won't work.  If Muscatine in five years is the same population that they are presently, everyone will be suprised.  Muscatine is a town in the critical care ward, and only ill trained doctors are there to save the City.  

How many new companies have been recruited in the past 20 years?  Why does the local Development Corporation always fail to get new employment in Muscatine?   Why does the City consistently take citizens rights away?  

The citizens of Muscatine are idiots as they should have fired the Development Corporation years ago.  They are idiots for never complaining about the pollution.  They are idiots for permitting the negative community leaders to run the community.

Muscatine hasn't grown in the past 20 years, why should they start now?  A recent new issue, Muscatine is fast loosing the middle class as well.  HON execuitives live in Iowa City and Davenport - Bettendorf, not Muscatine.  Is this acceptable, hell yes, the City allows our street comissioner to live in Iowa City, and changes the ordinances to permit it.  Doesn't that not only tell you something about the mental attitude of Muscatine's citizens and council and mayor, not to metion the best kept roads are the ones that lead to Iowa City. 

We can go on and on, yes, Muscatine is going away with or without GPC.  Will GPC quit. Think about it you idiot, plunk down a 100 million dollars and close your doors, no, Gage may be greedy, but he certainly isn't stupid.
