March 7th Journal:

The proposed requirements for which Fridley Theatres will be responsible include:

n Public improvements, such as roadway improvements on Palm Drive, the street that would lead into the theater complex; street lighting; a right-turn lane off Mulberry onto Palm Drive; all costs for extending the sanitary and storm sewer; and the potential widening of Mulberry Avenue to include a third lane at the intersection.

Yeah, I think it's that word "potential" in regard to Mulberry that makes me think the Mayors five year prediction might be accurate.

1.  I see the President continues to round up voters by any means possible, this time ignoring his duty to protect our borders and allowing an estimated 800,000 criminals (illegals) to remain here and rob us blind.  It's already being called the "Catch, Release,  and go vote" program. This one I have to agree with, timing is crucial for him here. The polls went wild after that announcement. But who can trust polls anyway.

2.  Isn't it strange how BDIMalloryTPI has disappeared.  Now if you believe they were three people, it's an amazing coincidence.  It makes much more sense to consider that they are one and the same, which is fine.  The more, the merrier. You mean an amazing coincidence that you and several other absolutely one melded mind are not the same four or five people? Hmmm----yeah I can see how you might not see that ---considering well you know the coincidence thing. But that's okay the more the merrier.

3.  10-plex movie theater.  Born to fail.  Already showing signs of a slow death. How is that coming along exactly?

4.  Matt Coss leaving the Journal is a loss.  Having a home-town boy reporting on local sports was a positive.

 Don't read it anyway.

5.  The loss of the Whispering Pines golf course is sad.  It was a nice place to play, and I'm left to wonder what the homeowners there think after buying a house on a golf course that's been allowed to go belly-up.Guess you must like to golf to feel this one.  Not a fan of the sport anyway nor knew where it was. However it's always sad to see a viable venue dissapear regardless of who does or doesn't like the sport.
