It;s not all that tough to see both sides of this mess. But we must never forget that we became this nation based on the resolute principles that make us the great nation that we are through our constitution.

 If  others on the opposite side of the issue---Heaven forbid---had the experience where the second amendment might have proven it's worth, as many in this country have, it might not be so hard to understand why many feel the strength of the Constitution should never be minimized in any fashion. Regardless of how many nutty scum subvert it's intention and the law. If we do that, it becomes a useless parcel of paper. Ask any reporter or castor if they would stand for the slightest re describing of the the 1st or ask the ACLU if they would like the 4th turned into swiss cheese. I feel that when it comes to the constitution it's hands off all of it----- unless we don't care when they come for the ones we prefer to support, because a hand full seem to have nothing to do but abuse it..
