Thousands of Aluminum tubes said to be used for centrifuges in nuclear weapons production but actually not and they knew it ahead of the announcement. If that wasn't enough for Bush he then accused them of buying 500 tons of yellow cake by Iraq, used to produce nuclear weapons. Also a lie as all the Bush'babies knew before Bush went on camera before the world and told both of these whoppers, to aid his justification for war with Iraq. That spawned "plamegate" and the resignation and criminal trial for Libby, but not Chaney and Rove. Neither were fired and Bush himself was not impeached or even asked to resign.
