Somebody was so blinded by Bush hatred that they forgot to notice that the Democrats controlled Congress during both of Bush's last two years and the House two years earlier than that. Is there a chance that too many of the troubles of that period had something to do with the Democrats being in control with Bush forced to be a lame duck?
BTW...."job killer" is an oxymoron, don't you think? Unemployment was 7.3% when Bush left office. It went over 8% in nobama's second month and has never been below 8% in 41 months of his presidency. If you are blaming Bush for killing jobs; which you are; then you have to Blame nobama for massacre-killing jobs. Can't have both ways, davie.

Clinton was a great leader then to hand Bush the greatest growth in our history. Congress is the fault of all our woes and NOT the president. We see that now too. Still selling those percentages we are. Thank you for explaining that for us. We bought a brooder house that had to be hauled in. It was rough and we knew it to start with. But once we got it in place and started to populate it-- the whole roof came down and discovered then that someone had damaged it beyond repair. We found -Not Told- they laid tar and shingles over the shakes and scabbed a couple studs along the old broken joists. Cost more to fix then the whole damn thing was worth. But guess who got out of the costs. (A hint) NOT THE PREVIOUS OWNER) Who has run the majority for the last two years then. Hmmm. I get it and I'm sure the rest of these gentlemen do as well. But you truly must stop blaming the consumer for this pile of slop bestowed upon the USA and the American workforce.  The ten free trade deals now in effect are the sole reason we are where we are. Bankrupt by bankers and brokers, freetrade deals---an unemployed nation under seige by the leaders ------we put there------ and those corporate scumm who feed the leaders their drugs of power and cash. Stop blaming the guy or gal next door because they cannot buy American any longer. It was a sham every time these bastards opened their mouths and touted the great ways these free trade deals were going to grow jobs and our economy. CLINTON, BUSH, AND NOW obama DID THIS. Along with every single representative who voted to send them to the oval office. I don't know about you, but by God I hated Clinton for pushing and signing Shove It UP Your NAFTA. And then Bush for the next seven of them(not to mention NCLB). AND---This fledgling moron signs another three of them. The jobs began to leak out of our economic infrusrtucture immediately. I long for an american drinking glass, pie pan, or toothbrush, or an American pair of shoes or a damn blouse made in America. I looked inside the collar of my husband's dress shirts,  not one is made in the USA. His pants socks and bloomers, Even a rake. The chicken I baked last night is the only thing in our posession other than the old GMC that was made here. I didn't ask for this and I bet neither did the rest of the people here. No sir/maam. This is all the fault of the greed and power handed to those on capitol hill and the white house by the paid for wishes of every single corporation behind the trillions in profits they are hoarding and hiding thanks to free trade and week little men that we elected..
