"never in the history of this nation has one man been handed so much to deal with in regard to problems and disastrous caseload."

And that White House resident is more than happy to blame everybody but himself for the current economic situation (dare we say, “malaise”) of the country:

From only one month in 2011:

  • “Obama Suggests Congress to Blame,” (The Atlantic Wire, August 11)
  • “On Bus Tour, Obama Shifts Blame to Republicans,” (Reuters, August 16)
  • “Obama Blames Tea Party for Holding Back Economic Recovery,” (The Raw Story, August 16)
  • “Obama Blames Bush and GOP,” (Washington Wire, August 2)
  • “Obama Blames Blogs, Fox News,” (Beltway Confidential, August 16)
  • “Obama Blames the Internet for High Unemployment,” (Fox Nation, August 17)

Kind of sicknening, aint it!

Well to be honest.--

It is sickening------ hardly ignorant sir-----and another of the many reasons I hold Reagan in such high regard. But------in spite of the obvious differences between the two, both political experience and management experience, Reagan stands well above obama by a mile. Always have given him such praise. But while we continue the hair splitting---there are a couple things Reagan did not have to deal with    from the first day of his tenure., Two wars, seven free trade lies, millions of jobs evaporating due to these trade lies, foreclosures abounding, corporate profits soaring, prices of consumer goods soaring and the worst health care debt in our history, not to mention the real numbers not reflected in your impressive body of work. and the highest gas prices in decades. I'll give you day one was a stretch but really close either way, especially in the first six months.

I often wondered how Ron would have dealt with this mess today and don't see any quick fix with his skill set either. Not that I think obama can do it, I don't. But hope shines eternal in we Americans. I'd have gone with Hoover over Reagan though, with only eight months under his belt to deal with the actual worst economy in our history. I don't think we really need to cary it any further than that. But to reiterate-------Reagan did have a mess that we clearly understand was bad, and the man did indeed have the mind to actually help us out of it. We did well once the turn around came under Reagan's second term. But when it tanked again under Clinton the head price fell to less than feed and we had to bail. The land sale and our witts saved our butts only.

Not Reagan. Bush, Clinton.or Bush

We did it ourselves.

The president cannot "create" recovery.  The president can only allow recovery to happen by getting out of the way.  That is what Reagan did.

The president can, though, stifle recovery.  That is what the obumbler is doing.  Not only not getting out of the way, but meddling with the process by trying to prove a liberal point.

I;m not saying he did or didn't---

I don't recall hearing this one. How in God's green earth would he think ATM's are the blame. The banks are open right along side them and they have been around for almost as long as he's been alive.

I need to visit one sometime today..
