I must say I was favorably surprised by this evenings coverage of the Chick Fil A event, at least with the two I watched. Caught the Channel 8 local news, who presented what I thought to be a good fact-based report on the local turnout.Interviewed one fellow who pointed out that whenever conservatives disagree with liberals, it's automatically labeled as "hate". Nice to see a calm, well-spoken gent get some air time.
Even NBC News, while skewing the story toward the left, did not do its usual hatchet job. Andrea Mitchell must be busy elsewhere covering Bill Clintons humanitarian efforts.
I agree. Are there any liberals here who want to ride up to Davenport tomorrow and have lunch with me at Chick-Fil-A? I will not buy but I will drive.
