Sorry to have not joined in the fun lately, dears. Retired educators convention in Reno that I simply could not miss. Robert loves the conventions so. The short stay in the poky on the last visit here has not dampened his enthusiasm.
We decided to bring TP and Mallory along for the trip this time. TP has been is such a desperate way lately, what with there being so few tornadoes for him to chase this summer. The emergency personnel seem to be appreciative when we keep him out of their hair for any length of time. TP loves it here. The black leather fits right in. Mall has spent a great deal of time at a local tatoo establishment, and won't give any hints as to the nature of her new ink, other than it screams "HOOTCHIE MAMA".
Of course, the folks out here are a little confused with their boy Harry Reid. Word is he smokes a little.....you know, rides the dragon. Most people think he must have burnt a fatty before that little talk about Mr. Romneys taxes, but love him anyway just because he reminds them of their old drunk uncle. Kind of like the Kapinski brothers back in Aledo. Rascals grew their own and never got caught. Told their mom it was gladiolas.
Pretty sure we saw that poster Republican in a show the other night. One of those gaudy stage extravaganzas where the fellows dress up like ladies. I must say, with the lighting and proper makeup, he does make a pretty fine looking gal. Great legs.
