As of this morning, each and every man, woman and child has a $59,000 debt. That is every person's share of the national debt. I don't know about you but that scares to bejeepers out of me. The greatest country IN THE WORLD borrows 40 cents out of every dollar spent. If you went to HyVee and bought $100 worth of groceries and put $40 on a crdiet card - how many weeks could you continue to do that? When do you think the credit card would say "NO"? When does china say no? What happens if/when they do? When anyone tells you that the United States of America does not have a spending problem - smack 'em.
