That is how block #11 is written on nobama's long form birth certificate (copy), identifying where his daddy is from. What is entered into this block is "Kenya, East Africa". This, of course, is in August of 1961 (allegedly).
Africa is a continent-not a country. Kenya was not an island, a state, or foreign country until Dec of 1963, when it became independent and had its first constitution. It supposedly became a republic a year later and elected Jomo Kenyatta as its first president.
Some things are just interesting....
