I will accomplish those things I made campaign promises on, because I will have total Democrat control of Congress for at least the first two years of my administration, and likely longer if we win in 2010.

On the Today show with Matt Lauer in March, 2009 he stated " Iwill be held accountable. If I don't have this economy turned around in 3 years, it will be a one term proposition for me." Now bothe he and the impeached liar are saying that no president - even clinton - could have got us out of the recession in only one term. Funny that they should say that as Reagan had an even worse recession handed to him and by the end of the third summer the economy was soaring with a growth in GDP at 5% and growing compared to the rate today of an anemic 1+%. This much barack hussein can promise us - more of the same!

And like he told the Univision Hispanic news anchor the other day about his failed immigration efforts, "Republicans blocked most efforts".

Except....people forget he had two solid years of total Dem control in Congress.
