Where is Holder's leaks investigation?

June 08, 2012: "Attorney General Eric Holder said on Friday he had assigned two U.S. attorneys to lead investigations into the possible leaking of state secrets.

"The unauthorized disclosure of classified information can compromise the security of this country and all Americans, and it will not be tolerated," he said in a statement.

Holder assigned U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ronald C. Machen Jr., a Democratic appointee, and U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein, a holdover GOP appointee, to lead the investigations".

 

What is the status? I thought this was serious stuff? Why has this been swept under the rug?

Then on June 12, 2012: " The attorney general also expressed full confidence in the U.S. Attorneys in Washington, D.C., and Maryland handling the leak investigation, and said he was opposed to a special prosecutor being appointed, as some Republicans in Congress favor".

“That would necessarily mean having to find someone, staff them up, find office space…,” Holder said of using an independent prosecutor. “And the need is for us to operate with some degree of haste and some degree of speed.”

 

 

Haste and speed? This is now October! There are just so many players in this fiasco by the nobama admin. You call this haste and speed?
